Did you know that you can turn your acrylic craft paint into fabric paint? All you need is a textile medium!
Here are the supplies I used to make these t-shirts:
Baby wipes
Wash and dry tshirts ahead of time.
Make a template on the cardboard for the hand and stripes. Slide cardboard inside of tshirt and line it up. The top of our flags are about 2 inches from the neck line.
Once you have the cardboard positioned, tape down top, bottom, and sides to pull the fabric tight.
Mix your textile medium with your craft paint, follow directions on back of bottle. The one I have linked here says to use 2 parts medium to 1 part paint.
Paint stripes
Paint hands with sponge brush/dabber
Allow to dry completely (24 hours before washing again)
These were SO QUICK to make and my kids had so much fun!
