The Sweetest DIY Keepsake Ornament

Supplies Used:

Metal chain link/clasp

(I found these in the jewelry section a few years ago but you could use floral wire. This is so the ornament faces out and not on its side when hung on the tree)

Photo

Cardstock

Paint

Paintbrush

Scissors

Open ornament and trace the circle on the back of the photo, cut just inside the circle for it to fit.

Then using cardstock, paint hand and do a couple of handprints so you can use the clearest one.

Let handprint dry then trace photo around hand and cut out. Cut small slits if the hand is bigger so that the whole handprint circle can bend inside the ornament.

Take ribbon and cut it the length of how tall your child is and wrap it up to add inside. Your kids will love taking it out every year and seeing how tall they've grown.

You could even start another ornament with ribbon in it for every year!

Let me know if you try it!

Merry Everything and Happy Always!
